Our History
Pharmastar has been focused on pharmacy benefits since we first turned the lights on in 1997. Since that time, we've evolved from a dedicated program for a major health plan to a full-service, fully independent PBM.
We administer pharmacy benefits for a wide variety of clients including commercial, Medicare Part D and Medicaid managed lives throughout the country. We offer customized pharmacy network solutions as well as access to a national network of over 64,000 pharmacies with our unique, "time-based" management approach to personable and unparalleled service.
Pharmastar is organized in the state of Wisconsin as an independently owned limited liability corporation. The organization is neither owned by, nor holds any interest in, any pharmaceutical organization.
